Hi all! I'm with you again, Masha Parker. And this time I suggest you pamper yourself and your loved ones by preparing an incredibly tasty “Winter's Tale” salad with veal at home. It turns out very tender and at the same time spicy, fragrant and beautiful, so it is ideal for the holiday table.

To make it at home you don’t need a lot of exotic products, but the result is simply amazing. Be sure to try it, you will definitely like it!

Ingredients:

1. High-quality veal – 500 gr.

2. Chicken egg – 4 pcs.

3. Mushrooms (any) – 350 gr.

4. Carrots - 2 pcs.

5. Onions – 1 pc.

7. Ground pepper and salt - to taste

By the way, you can use other lean meat instead of veal. For example, sometimes they make such an elegant salad with beef, pork without lard, or even with chicken, it still turns out delicious.

And you can decorate it with dill, ripe pomegranate seeds, olives - all this will not only give the dish a festive look, but also add vitamins. As for salt, I recommend buying iodized salt, especially for regions with iodine deficiency; this is also very beneficial for the body.

First, let's prepare the products - they need to be washed and laid out on the work surface to make it comfortable to work with. Now let's start cooking.

Cooking method:

1. Wash the meat thoroughly and cook until fully cooked. Cut into beautiful, neat strips. Place it in a deep dish and level it - this is the first layer.

2. Lubricate it with mayonnaise.

3. Now peel the boiled eggs, separate the whites from the yolks and grate the latter.

4. Place them on top of the mayonnaise. By the way, if you use homemade mayonnaise, the taste of the salad will become even better, and the beneficial properties will increase significantly!

5. Mushrooms (I usually use porcini or champignons, but chanterelles are also suitable) need to be washed and chopped.

Next, fry in vegetable oil with onions until cooked. Then add salt and ground black pepper to them and mix. Use only those mushrooms whose quality and freshness you are 100% sure of, otherwise poisoning is possible!

6. Place our mushrooms on the yolk

7. Spread a little mayonnaise on top.

8. Cut the boiled carrots into strips or into three on a grater, this is the third layer, which we also treat with sauce.

9. Place the whites grated on a coarse grater on top and smooth them out nicely.

10. All that remains is to decorate our wonderful salad with dill or other fresh fragrant herbs, olives, pomegranate seeds or even small cherry tomatoes - it all depends on your preferences. That's all, bon appetit!

This salad is very good to make for the winter, because it is very filling. It is especially good to serve it at the holiday table; everyone will certainly appreciate your efforts!

If you wish, you can experiment a little - add your favorite vegetables to the composition. Personally, for example, I really like to put ripe red and yellow bell peppers here. Many people also add spices to the sauce.

If for some reason you do not consume mayonnaise (diet, problems with the gastrointestinal tract, etc.), then you can always find a way out of the situation by preparing an equally tasty replacement. Try infusing olive oil with garlic, add basil and a little lemon juice - that’s it, the dressing is ready!

Finely chopped nuts also go well with meat; this secret is well known to the residents of the Caucasus. Try adding a little toasted walnuts to your Winter's Tale and you will immediately notice positive changes! You can also use pine nuts if your budget allows.

Cook only from fresh, high quality ingredients and with love, then absolutely everything will turn out just great!
