Crackers and chips are used in recipes. We offer you several “crazy” versions of the famous salad.

Crab chips are best for Surprise salad. But it is acceptable to put potato chips in it. In this case, you should buy shrimp-flavored chips. Another “Surprise” option is adding crackers instead of chips. Try adding kirieshki crackers flavored with crab, fish (tuna, salmon, trout, salmon, cod liver) or caviar.

  • 30 g (1 bag) chips;
  • 1 pack crab meat
  • 300 g squid;
  • 1 can canned sweet corn;
  • 6 pieces hard-boiled eggs;
  • 1 onion;
  • mayonnaise, seasonings to taste.
  1. Cut crab meat into small cubes.
  2. Cleaned squids should be cut into strips and fried in vegetable oil.
  3. Finely chop the eggs.
  4. Place the corn in a colander to drain excess liquid.
  5. Cut the peeled onion into thin half rings.
  6. We pour the chips from the bag into a bowl, add the prepared products to them, season with mayonnaise, and add salt.
  7. Mix and serve.

Salad with crab meat and beans

This salad option is prepared with canned crab meat. Main advantages this recipe the fact that no ingredients require preliminary preparation, and the result is an inexpensive dish and a hearty side dish for hot appetizers. Serve the salad prepared according to this recipe after it has been in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

  • canned crabs or mussels - 1 can;
  • canned red beans – 1 can;
  • sweet bell pepper (red or yellow) – 1 pod;
  • fresh cucumber – 1 piece;
  • parsley – 1 bunch
  • mayonnaise – 1-2 tbsp. l.
  • refined vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • ground black pepper, salt - at your discretion.
  1. Wash vegetables and herbs, remove seeds from peppers.
  2. Chop the onion, pepper and cucumber into thin strips.
  3. Place the beans in a colander to drain excess liquid.
  4. Prepare a sauce for which we mix butter with mayonnaise and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove the crab meat from the jar and place it in a salad bowl. Add beans and chopped vegetables.
  6. Season with sauce and stir.

Puff with pineapples

The combination of salty cheese and sweet pineapples gives the salad an unusual taste. The layer-by-layer “assembly” also makes it original. Use a special form and prepare this royal salad as a festive snack cake. If you place these layers on pita bread and roll it into a roll, you will get a tasty and satisfying puff pastry snack.

Crab sticks go very well with canned corn, so these two ingredients are quite often found in the same salad. And it’s not surprising that these salads are always tasty and popular. To freshen up the crab sticks and corn salad, I added fresh cucumbers. Basically, this is a classic crab salad, and if you haven’t prepared it yet, urgently fill the gap :)

Prepare crab sticks, canned corn, fresh cucumbers, chicken eggs, mayonnaise and salt.

Boil chicken eggs, cool and peel. Cut the crab sticks into thin slices. Leave two sticks for decoration.

Add fresh cucumbers (small cubes) to the crab sticks. Depending on the size of the cucumbers, you will need 1 or 2 of them.

Then add canned corn to the salad bowl (completely drain the liquid from the can).

And add chicken eggs (small cubes) to the salad bowl.

Season the salad with mayonnaise, add a little salt and mix.

Crab sticks and corn salad is ready. Place it in a heap into a salad bowl for serving and garnish with thin slices of crab sticks in a circle. That's it - the salad can be served!
